I am so grateful for you being here on Love + Inspiration Notes, and for being my client, in community with me, and on this planet together during this auspicious + transformative time in human evolution.
I'm not gonna lie, this year has been a journey! It started with Los Angeles and Esalen, led to me working on staff for the Stacey Abrams campaign, launching my amazing YouTube series Luminescence, creating Conscious Communication Games, putting Retreat Recipes for Yoga Lovers out into the world, doing readings at Modern Mystic, being in Atlanta again, in all the Slutty Vegan goodness, evolving and growing, continuing to heal, love, choose growth, and serve others.

When you hear that I'm an Intuitive Reader, use Oracle Cards, do Affirmative Prayer, etc, you might assume that I'm New Agey + my head is in the clouds. Or that I'm always happy, and nothing ever goes wrong.
Part of my gift of loving and supporting people comes from my wound. Here are a few of the most challenging times in my life:
I was trapped in a house that caught on fire at age 3.
My first boyfriend attempted, and later committed suicide.
I have been going through one of the most intense grief journeys of my life, over the past two years.
I don't say this for pity, or to freak you out, but to let you know, rather, that you're not alone, and I get it. See, here's what I learned from the experiences:
I am still on a journey of feeling the fear + acting anyway!
I believe in asking how people are and really listening to the answer.
I am soooo much more able to be with others' grief, and to see how this is a natural part of life, than I have ever been before!
I rarely talk about the shadow, but in order to step into your fullest potential, it is vital to do shadow work. Part of my gift as a coach is holding space for the energies of anger, rage, + grief, with safety, mindfulness, + care. These can be the emotions that are blocking your vitality, or in the way, and letting them out opens an energetic portal to our freedom + full expression.

I visited Stacey's website to learn about volunteering, and ended up applying, being interviewed + hired to live and work in rural Georgia, working 70 days in a row, 70-80 hour weeks, for the cause! (An incredibly strengthening experience!)
My county and city were mentioned by Oprah when she came to Atlanta to campaign! (I/ we basically rocked it!)

I'm all about actress/ singer Janelle Monae's album release this week!
For all my feminists + woman-power people out there, you may have already tuned into her art classic music video, Pynk.
She also released an Emotion Picture that's #AfroFuturism + #BlackGirlMagic at its best!! If you have 45 minutes, you have to watch it! I'm inspired by Janelle Monae's coming out, + her creative expression + genius in all ways!

This will be my fourth year using Leonie Dawson's Shining Year Workbooks. They are a phenomenal way to dream big + write down all your bucket list goals for 2018, in every area of life! I have known Sarah now for 4 years (wow!). We met as Accountability Partners in Marie Forleo 's program, B-School. In other words, she comes up with Daily Affirmations that are spot on + always exactly what you are going through!! I love how her affirmations line up with Louise Hay's from the calendar below. Womb Healing + The Collective Consciousness
In the Jewish tradition, this past weekend was Yom Kippur, a holiday all about asking for Forgiveness.
I've been doing Affirmative Prayer on facebook a bunch, + noticing an energy wants to come through around Womb Healing.
Yes, I'm a Food Artist + Healer, but I also lived with Tantra Practitioners + catered lots of Tantra Workshops, along with taking tons of Breathwork classes in Bali! All of these modalities can be so beautiful for healing the Womb.
The womb, for those of us who have one, is where we store anger, fear, old hurts + wounds. It is time for us to clear out this old energy, + also the energy we pick up from the Collective Consciousness, from our Ancestral Lineages, and more.

What Your Fave Childhood Song Says About You
What was your favorite song as a child?
I knew all the words to Whitney Houston's Greatest Love of All + even invited all the neighbors over so I could sing it to them! ;)
But the songs that have touched my heart lately from my childhood are the epic super-celebrity recording of We Are the World + We All Sing With the Same Voice from Sesame Street.
From a very young age, I was touched by the themes of Unity, Diversity, + Togetherness.
And these themes went into my recent book, Retreat Recipes for Yoga Lovers, which features different cultural recipes from around the world.
I also made an effort to include more diverse voices + images in my book, as changing the media is so important in these times.

(Yes, I'm in a New Age Gospel Choir. ;)) "I was spinning around till I finally found, that part of me that was always free." Ahhh, so good!
